I am spending thirteen months in India on a Fulbright scholarship. From August to mid-December, I am studying Hindi. After that, I am spending about nine months on my research: a comparative analysis of community-based water management projects in the Indian Himalayas.

Henna Tattoos
On Tuesday night, I went with my friends Sarah and Nilima to get henna tattoos. A young girl we met named Asha did it for us. She is the champion of henna at her school in Mussoorie. I was very pleased with the results.
